CAMPANIA. Teanum Sidicinum. Circa 265-240 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 22 mm, 6.53 g, 6 h). Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress; behind, crane standing left. Rev. 𐌕𐤂𐌀NVR ('tianud' in Oscan) Nike-Victory driving fast biga to left, holding kentron in her right hand and reins in her left. Basel 55 (this coin). HN Italy 452. Sambon 987. Rare. Nicely toned and struck on a full flan. The reverse a bit rough, otherwise, very fine.
